The tour gives the unique opportunity to discover Venice as seen by local people, to enter the places usually not seen by the tourists.
The English speaking guide leads through tiny streets, small bridges above narrow canals passing by local market squares.
It starts from outside the Tourist Information Centre in St Marks Square to reach the church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.
The interior of baroque church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari features works of almost all great Venetian artists, including Titian , Sansovino, Canova and Ca’ Pesaro.
After visiting the church tourists board a Gondola in one of the back streets. The gondola glides through narrow channels to Gran Canal and follows the Canal to reach Ponte di Rialto, where the tour ends around 5 pm.
