The trip commences in air-conditioned coach and includes entry fees, local guides, main meals and two nights at a hotel in Sorrento.

1 Day Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento

The road from Rome leads through medieval villages known as Castelli Romani and before Naples you will pass the Benedictine monastery on the hill Monte Cassino, a place of heavy fights during the Second World War. A visit to Naples includes a short city tour, during which you will see the Bay of Naples and the most important historical sights.

Then the road will lead near the slopes of Vesuvius in the area destroyed by its sudden eruption. You will pass Ercolano built over the ruins of Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata, which hides remains of ancient Oplontis, but destroyed during the eruption. The third place of disaster, Pompeii is now UNESCO World Heritage Site, but before the guided tour you will enjoy a lunch in local restaurant (included).

2 Day Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento

This day will be devoted to Capri and you will see most of this picturesque island with famous Piazzetta, town Anacapri, Marina Grande harbour.
You will enjoy the boat trip to famous Blue Grotto ( in case of bad weather conditions Faraglioni rocks).
Dinner and overnight in Sorrento.

3 Day Sorrento – Rome

After breakfast free time to discover Sorrento penisula. You may stay longer in the town to see the Duomo, or taste Limoncello drink, and visit some places along the coast, like old thermal baths in Castellammare di Stabia,ancient Villa di Arianna, or serving antique wine restaurants in Vico Equense.
Late afternoon return to Rome.
