Leave sun burnt Rome for one day to see the remains of an ancient life broken by sudden anger of Mount Vesuvius. on the way you will stop at Naples, the world capital of pizza.

An air-conditioned coach leaves from the central point not far from Termini Railway Station. You may also be piccked up from some centrally located hotels in Rome.
The road leads through medieval villages known as Castelli Romani and before Naples you will pass by famous Benedictine monastery at Monte Cassino damaged during heavy fightings of WW II.
Visiting Naples start from a stop near Castel dell’Ovo (Egg Castle) located on the islet of Megaris in the middle of Bay of Naples.
Your trip goes through the streets of Naples passing by historical buildings, including the Royal Palace, Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, San Carlo Opera House, Gallery of Umberto I and monumental walls of 13th century Castel Nuovo.

Then inside Vesuvius Valley you will be able to see the sopes of sleeping giant, whose eruption in in 79 A.D destroyes the three locations: Herculaneum , Oplontis and Pompeii.
You will pass Ercolano, Terra Annunziata built over the ruins of Oplontis and before arriving for lunch at Pompeii you will see Torre del Greco famous for its coral manufactures ( the coral and fameo factory will be seen on the way back).

After the lunch, which is included in the price, you will be taken by a local guide for a two-hour walking tour of the ancient city of Pompeii, the site from UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the tour you will see the spectacular paintings on the walls of Patrician villas, frescoes inside Villa of Mysteries, the temples, forum and the gladiators barracks, part of Large Theatre complex.
