This is a good opportunity for visitors with the limited time, but interested in history of the Empire.

Also the tourist, who stay in Rome for a longer time, but want to avoid crowds can join the group led by the knowledgeable guide provided by the Administration of the Colosseum.
The group of no more than 25 people is equipped with headsets which provide comfortable hearing.

The English-speaking guide is waiting on the small square near the way out of the Metro station ‘Colosseo’.
The group goes to the top of the hill Colle Oppio with a panoramic view of the Colosseum, the descent down to the special entrance to the Colosseum,
listen to the past history of the amphitheatre and the tales of gladiators.

The photo break near the Arch of Constantine precedes the visit to Palatine Hill, the most famous of the seven hills of Rome.
The hill features great panorama of the ancient Rome, including view of Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum, which is the next part of the tour.

The group follows the main path through the Forum, ‘Via Sacra’ (‘Sacred Way’ ) which leads to the Temple , where Julius Caesar was cremated.
