No mountains in the Alps offers such a dazzling panorama as the Dolomites. For mountain bikers a unique spectacle of nature, combines with cozy cabins and fine gourmet delights.
30-balanced and well-marked mountain bike routes of all difficulty levels make total of about 1,000-kilometer route network in one of the world’s most beautiful mountain panoramas. So the bike area Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi ( Gröden/Seiser Alm ) presents a series of newly designed routes suitable for bikers of all levels.
The feature of the bike area Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi is their particular altitude. The 30 routes are in height between 700 and 2450 meters.
Surrounded by the Dolomites the area of Langkofel and Plattkofel is one of the largest and most beautiful high mountain pastures of Europe, where the routes run mostly on forest and meadow trails. Seiser Alm is comfortable from Ortisei ( St.Urlich) to the orbit “Mont Sëuc” but also accessible via logging roads and forest trails. On the opposite side of the valley lie the Rasciesa Seceda Alps. A moderate panoramic tour takes you below the Odle by the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list Puez-Geisler Nature Park. An absolute highlight is the “Sella Ronda”. A challenging route for experienced mountain bikers can ride both clock- and anticlockwise. This tour to enjoy proceeds mainly on single-track trails and gravel roads and can be easily navigated through the use of some lifts around the Sella massif.
